The Arts House, the National Book Development Council of Singapore and the Asian Festival of Children’s Content Book Club present the Singapore launch of If I Were A Blue Kangaroo.
Written in rhyme with a metre that is just right, If I Were A Blue Kangaroo is a tender story of friendship told by an author who refuses to succumb to the mould that comes with being a stiff, more-boring-than-thou grown-up.
The beautifully rendered picture book begins with the promise of fantastic travels afforded to a blue kangaroo but ends with the most reassuring realisation that no adventure is greater than that of having a friend, making it a perfect bedtime story.
