The new media in this Web 2.0 era has opened up a host of writing opportunities and everyone seems to be jumping on the bandwidth bandwagon. Join the All In! Young Writers Seminar 2010 and explore the creative and career possibilities awaiting writers in the new media. If you are a student from a Junior College, Polytechnic or University who aspires to be a writer, this is the place to be on 20 Feb 2010!

What you’ll get

We have various sessions focusing on the new media and how it is evolving, plus concurrent workshops covering different forms of writing. This seminar will provide an insight into:

  • How the Internet and web technologies have evolved and are evolving
  • How the traditional publishing value chain been has affected by IT and the new media
  • Writing in the larger context of Digital Media
  • How to keep up to date with new developments
  • Future trends like e-books, e-readers, interactive and multimedia content
  • Responsible blogging

In addition, the sessions will expose all of you to exciting career and job opportunities available for those who love to write.
